Come back to this when Saint Louis makes the final four. This is the best chance at a mid major making the final four since Florida Atlantic did in 2023, and this team is better. Definitely one of the best mid majors in recent memory. Right now Saint Louis is currently projected as an 8 seed or a 9 seed and are ranked top 25 in the country on both T-Rank and KenPom. They are above teams like Arkansas, St. John’s and BYU (yes, byu). Also, they are ranked #1 in the country on T-Rank in both EFG% and EFGD%. They are also ranked top 6 in the country on 2P%, 2P%D AND 3P%, 3P%D while having one of the fastest tempos in the entirety of college basketball (top 30). I know they don’t play the best competition, but this is still very, very impressive. They would be undefeated right now if Stanford didn’t hit a game winning buzzer beater on them. There is a very good chance we could get a multi-bid A10 this year which would be amazing.
