“The legendary career of Slovenia’s greatest hockey product, Anze Kopitar, ends on a sad note as the Kings once again disappoint, which is shocking considering they had virtually no expectations. Although I will argue that we should’ve seen this coming after LA couldn’t beat the Flames starting an AHL goalie. With this final loss, Anze’s final series win came, fittingly, from the 2014 Stanley Cup Final. It’s somewhat fitting. The game itself was kinda boring. Avs dominated and looked good doing it. The Kings never had a chance. This game is much more interesting for its significance in NHL history when it comes to Kopitar’s career ending, which gives this game a boost when it comes to my rating. From what he said after this game, he is truly at peace and I’m happy for him. We’ll surely see him at least 2 more times in the hockey world. Once at his jersey retirement with the Kings, then when he is inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. ”
