I’m gonna be completely honest, I love watching Montreal. Even when they don’t score, they’re so fast and fluid which is very satisfying to watch and often effective too. Much like how their coach was as a player. Their games will pretty much always going to get a boost in their rating just because of their inherent entertainment value. Style points basically. Fortunately, it was both style and substance because Buffalo decided 5 days ago that they’re gonna start trying so they put up a fight. Montreal held on thanks to all that talent overwhelming a resilient Lyon (I will find a way to get him into each rating of a game that he plays in). Sabres did try to mount the comeback, but to no avail. Fun game, great watch. I especially loved the Suzuki blocked shot and pass to set up the empty netter. Fitting for the captain.
