Kyle Pitts finally had his breakout game! It only took… 241 weeks/1688 days! We all knew it would happen eventually. This was Pitts’s first 100-yard receiving game since his rookie season back in December 2021 and he set a career high in receiving TDs and yards. Baker didn’t have a great game, but Mike Evans had a throwback performance like it’s 2018. For how close this game was in the scoreboard, it felt off all game long until the Falcons were driving down the field for the final time. That 4th and 14 conversion was massive and I could hardly believe it. Someway, somehow, the Carolina Panthers are poised to take control of the NFC South. Remember when the Bucs were the best team in the NFL and Baker was gonna be MVP? I do, still feels like ages ago. For Cousins, the Falcons version of him has the Bucs’ number. Last time he threw for 500 yards, tonight, he rode Kyle Pitts’s back for victory.
