Comrie had me worried to start after he let that first shot in… but he played decent enough, had a few big saves, none of the last 3 goals were his fault, there was Jordan Staal perfect deflection in the slot, then a short handed breakaway which he saved the first shot but hometown boy Seth Jarvis put the rebound in. Then a perfect cross ice pass by Ehlers to Andrei Svechnikov. The jets rallied back at the end and starting take control of the game but a few big saves from Brandon Bussi got the canes the win. Nikolaj Ehlers return was very bittersweet he did a lot for us and our franchise with his time here, was very sad to see him leave. Gustav Nyquist looked very good, tho he didn’t score he looks a lot more comfortable and confident this game. Gabriel Vilardi played fantastic and was rewarded with 2 goals, I was hoping he’d tie the game for his hatrick. Good job from the jets showing some fight
