“That’s how you get back on your feet. It’s that resilience again… and getting a good Corey Seager back also helps. Ngl, I was really hoping we’d come into this game with the winning streak, but of course the Royals had to end that, so I wasn’t super optimistic. To make matters worse, Cleveland took an early lead and Messick was pitching a gem. It wasn’t looking good. Thankfully, Higashioka finally managed to break through, then Corey Seager put the dagger in Cleveland’s collective throat when he hit a classic Seager blast to give Texas the lead. From there, it was a wash as Cleveland was basically helpless against Texas’s bullpen. Granted, Cleveland gave me a brief scare in the 9th, only for Latz to shut it down. Corey Seager is the obvious stand out, his first truly great game since coming back from injury in what I hope is a sign of things to come. But Latz also deserves another heap of credit for just being so freaking good. ”
