“Now we have our champions league final matchup thanks to a game that was fast-paced, but not even close to the all-time classic we saw before. Sadly, all that will be overshadowed by the disgusting officiating. This game started out very strong. Kvaradonna took advantage of Upamecamo’s weekly heart attacks and set up Dembele for an electric start with a goal. It looked like this was going to be another classic. Instead, we got a clusterfuck. So many missed handballs, in particular one in the box that they LITERALLY called last week, only to decide that it no longer counts if it’s against PSG. Bayern were rightfully furious and that fury only grew when the ref decided to start calling handballs, on Bayern after they get dragged down by PSG. This isn’t quite as bad as Chelsea-Barca in 2009, but it’s not far off. With Kane’s late goal, it’s impossible to ignore the thoughts of what this game could’ve been had the officials done their job properly. Still fun to watch, just overshadowed. ”
