“HOCKEY IS BACK and we got a good game to kick off the season. What looked like a mismatch initially turned out to be a tight game primarily thanks to 2 guys who are trying to prove their extensions are worth it. First, Spencer Knight. The former Panther goalie had to deal with an onslaught of shots during the first couple periods and if not for his heroics, the Panthers probably win this game 5 or 6 to 2. Along with him, Frank Nazar was a threat all night long. Not only did he score the first goal of the season, but he created chances and gave Florida’s defensemen fits. But in the end, Panthers take game 1 of 82. Thank god hockey is back.”
