“Duke does not advance to the Elite Eight without the heroics of Caleb Foster in the second half. St. Johns had pulled out to a commanding 10 or 11 point lead with 12 to 13 minutes left. But Foster led the charge as Duke chipped away to barely squeeze past the Johnnies. I love Pitino, one of my favorite coaches ever, but why did he bury Prey on the bench?? He was the difference maker throughout the game, burying threes and blocking shots. Felt alot like last season when he benched RJ Luis down the stretch against Arkansas. Really wanted the Johnnies to win this one, but Duke survives by the skin of their teeth.”
