Completely pitiful from the Marlins. 4 GB (now 5) of a Wild Card spot and the only person that seems to want it is Sandy Alcantara. No run support for one of the best pitcher in Marlins history. Red Sox fans also turned LoanDepot Park into Fenway Park of South Florida since they basically got a home game tonight due to the Marlins fans not showing up. Pitiful from whatever fan base is down there too. The Marlins do not have time to fumble around. They have to choose a path and stick to it or they’re done. The Marlins had so many scoring opportunities and rarely capitalized. The Red Sox had some opportunities too, that Sandy shut down to keep the Fish in it. Atp in the season there should be some intensity. The Red Sox had intensity, the Marlins didn’t. I’m going to keep watching games just so I get to see the guys play but this was a bad one. Even if the Marlins had won it would’ve gotten a low score (probably 3ish).

A lot of bending but no breaking from the Red Sox today. Tons of traffic, another bases loaded situation with no runs to show for it. But Ranger and Bello only give up a run each, the defense shows us how good they've been most of the year with Ranger turning a slick double play that makes me confident he'll be back to his old self in time for the postseason. Great games for the speedsters here. Duran looked good, Eli White has been an awesome baserunner, and Seagulls had a huge triple. Love seeing the late comebacks initiated by new guys every night.
