“Don't understand why in the world you would take Jared Jones out here. 6 innings perfect. You just saw it happen 2 days earlier with Eury Perez, taken out of a perfect game and the Marlins nearly blow it. Now in this game, 0-0 when you take Jones out, and they lose. I understand they want to be cautious of Jones pitch count coming off a recent injury, but guess what? You have an entire All-Star break coming up! If he needs some extra days of rest after throwing a ton of pitches, he gets those extra days during the All-Star break! It's incredibly infuriating how managers take away chances at history.”
