ANOTHER great Wildcard game. We’re getting spoiled this season. This game was a lot grindy and chippy than the earlier ones, but I wouldn’t say it was to its detriment. We got a ton of chaos in this one. What makes me say that? The best quarterback in this game was a Wide Receiver. Jauan Jennings threw a TD AND got a roughing the passer call on the same play, true MVP stuff. Speaking of MVP stuff, Quinyon Mitchell was easily the best Eagle today. He cut off both of Purdy’s throws to get the crucial turnovers that gave Philly a chance to win this one while forcing the 49ers into hole. San Francisco got out of that hole in large part thanks to CMC who couldn’t get it going on the ground, but was vital in the passing game, scoring 2 TDs. Demarcus Robinson also helped by setting the tone early and putting a tiny bit of fear into the hearts of Philly faithful. In the end, it was costly drops and clutch 49er defense that won this game and we will get a new champ because of it.
