Angels team-members at the time, two of the greatest players to ever exist, the hopes and dreams of their countrymen on the line, perhaps Shohei's proof that he is the pinnacle of baseball. You could tell, as he unloaded 100mph pitches past Trout, that he wanted to blow everyone away. And he did, as the GOAT of yore whiffed and Japan cried out in victory.”
