2.1 in honour of the 21-point blowout. I was tempted to watch this because I’m trying to get a grasp of these teams as we get closer to March Madness. To be fair to the Cougars, they fought decently well in the first half. Sure, they were down 10 after the first half, but considering Gonzaga is ranked 9th and WSU isn’t ranked at all, I’d call that a win and promising. However, my positivity died when I watched Morton miss a shot, Okafor grab the rebound and commit an offensive foul almost immediately. At that point, I focussed on hockey and watched Gonzaga pull away with live updates from my phone. Graham Ike had a great day, ironic considering he missed his first 2 shots. He only missed 4 all game. It’s an understandable blowout, nevertheless, it is still a blowout. Still, not like Gonzaga was at full-strength. They lost Huff hours before this game even started.
