“The road to a 4-game clean sweep ends up with a rather unclean game. It was all Twins in the 1st inning, racking up an impressive 6 runs off Framber Valdez, as the whole batting lineup went to the plate. However, slowly but surely, the Tigers' offense hung on and fought hard, making it a 2-run gams in the top of the 7th. Thankfully for the Twins, no more runs would go after that. Cody Lawyerson had 2.0 IP of scoreless pitching, after the bad 7th inning, to close out the game. The Tigers are tied with the White Sox for last place in the AL Central, while the Twins are at .500 (6-6)”
