@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Manchester City FC vs AFC Bournemouth

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Manchester City FC vs AFC Bournemouth game 7.7 out of 10 in EPL on May 19, 2026. Final score: Manchester City FC 1 – AFC Bournemouth 1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

OMFG I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT FOR SO LONG! Bournemouth both clinches Europe and Arsenal’s Premier League title with a spirited performance. Man City just couldn’t break them down and the Cherries made them pay for it. Haaland had a dazzling goal, but it was far too late. It was a pretty good game overall, but this is so much more significant for me emotionally. When I first became a supporter of this club, I had missed out on the peak years, I wasn’t around for the Invincibles and I only got to see Thierry Henry in his final year. I was around for us finishing 3rd every year, idiotic fans forcing out our best manager ever, the Unai Emery season, the banter years and of course the recent frustrating bottling. It has been a long road, but they finally did it. I have criticized Arteta many times, but he finally got the job done. More importantly, he represents a culture shift. He gave us stability that we hadn’t had in nearly a decade and now he can say he brought us back to glory.
