“In Victoria Adamo's basement I was surrounded by a group of my friends who were mostly Giants fans and then there was another group of kids who were from our rival town and were bullies. I was 17 yrs old so a senior in high school and I remember at half time we were sneaking shots of Absolut outside and it was cold. The bullies from the rival town were rooting for the Pats and it seemed like they were gonna win. Then David Tyree's helmet catch happened in slow motion. I thought Eli was sacked and they blew the whistle but when we got out of it and launched that thing it was in slow motion in the air forever. When Plaxico caught that touchdown and the Giants won the Super Bowl it was such an incredible feeling. No undefeated season for the Pats. Good guys win. Bullies lose. one of the best SBs of all time. ”
