“This game was electric because it felt dead early and then completely flipped. Pirates came out swinging with a Oneil Cruz leadoff bomb and a Brandon Lowe grand slam, then Lowe added another one later and suddenly Chicago was in a 6-2 hole.  But the Cubs just kept hanging around. Swanson and Ballesteros both went deep, Bregman kept chipping in with sac flies, and then Michael Busch tied it in the 8th with a pinch-hit RBI single that turned into two runs scoring on the play.  Then the ending got even better. Pirates had a shot after Cruz stole second in the 9th, but Chicago got out of it, and in the bottom half Carson Kelly walks it off to finish a crazy 7-6 comeback win. One of those games that felt over early and somehow ended with Wrigley going nuts”
