“Classic case of an otherwise awesome game that was great until the very end when the officials make the ending awkward. Would’ve rated this around a high 8 if not for that clownery. Blue Jackets had everything on the line while the Bruins already secured safety. Yet, you wouldn’t know that from watching this game. Maybe Korpisalo saw the chance for revenge against his old team or the Bruins wanted to get one up on former teammate Charlie Coyle. Regardless, the Bruins played hard and challenged the defiant Blue Jackets. It felt like this game was balancing on a tight rope, one mistake could change the game. At first, it looked like Jokigarju made that dreaded error. After flubbing the puck and letting Fantilli go free for a goal. Even with his goal late in the 2nd, it looked like he could be the scapegoat. Mark Kastelic saved the day. The Jackets now need to rely on a Philly loss to stay alive. The refs bungled the end because one was having a convo with the Bruins bench DURING THE PLAY”
