Good win for Liverpool to start their championship season with 2 wins in 2 games. Salah and Diogo Jota launched a perfect counter attack off a Brentford corner kick that resulted in a great Luis Diaz goal 1-on-1 with the keeper. Then in the second half, Salah found himself completely wide open for an easy chip past the keeper. So tough that Salah is gone from Liverpool, dude always had a huge impact and was there when we needed a goal. Diaz also with a great pass to Salah for the assist on his goal, great performance overall by Diaz, creating chances all across the game. I really hope Gakpo can have some games next season where he provides a big impact like Diaz had in this one.

This was a very rough showing from Brentford. Liverpool made sure this game wasn’t very competitive. They took the lead in the 12th minute, and Brentford never got a good chance to tie it. Liverpool would continue to dominate for the rest of this game. They would even add on a brace from Mo Salah as they cruise to an easy win. I was hoping for a lot more from Brentford

That sequence in minute 60 when there was 5 passes in a matter of seconds was poetry in motion..if they had finished that….😳
