“Ngl, better than I expected. It looked like Canada wasn’t going to make it out of the pool for a bit. Making it to the quarters and giving the favourites a bit of a scare in our matchup is a great thing to build on. As for the game itself, it was good. Logan Webb was terrific as the starter, Mike Soroka was not terrific. Therefore USA took an early lead. Although we made them work for each run, except for the error. Toro has been so good in the WBC, sucks that his one mistake came in this game. After PCA drove in the Big Dumper, I was ready to accept the defeat. It’s been a good run, but us winning the tournament was always a long shot. Just then, Canada came alive. They got a rally going, Tyler Black drove in Caissie and Bo Naylor harnesses the power of Jarome Iginla to come up clutch with a bomb to cut the deficit to 2. Unfortunately, after we blanked the USA, Bednar ended the comeback attempt with a couple massive strikeouts and Canada never got close to tying it again. Great effort”

Ngl, better than I expected. It looked like Canada wasn’t going to make it out of the pool for a bit.
