“Blowout? Absolutely. Was it a feel-good story? Yes. Was it fun? Yes. With all that in mind, the rating meets in the middle. We have an upset as NC State takes down their in-state rival blueblood UNC. Although, it could’ve been a disaster. Darrion Williams took a nasty fall early and was bleeding. It did looked brutal. Thankfully he was okay, but that could have derailed the Wolfpack as he was their leading scorer when he got hurt. All NC State did was finish the half strong while holding UNC to 26 points with a bad 25% from the field and a putrid 6% (1/16) from 3. Things only got better by the slimmest of margins for UNC as the Wolfpack ran away with this one in an easy win. Darrion William has that dawg in him. Copeland had a good game, but major props to Able, coming off the bench when the Wolfpack needed a spark and putting up 19 on white hot shooting splits. NC State was locked while the Tar Heels were locked out of the winning hotel. Ayden High and Stevenson couldn’t find the key.”
