“SWWWEEP!!!! Gulp, is that hope I see???? Tigers get off to their usual hot start, but Melton then struggled and it was a tie game with each team scoring a long run in the first 2 innings. Tigers kept scoring like they have been for the last 2 games. On the offense Ding is unreal. Another homer today, he’s actually the best catcher in baseball. Power bat with a gold glove. On the defense. Two things 1. Gleyber is the key to it all, ever since he came back the offense came alive and the defense looks 10x better than it has all year. 2. Melton has the highest upside out of anyone on this pitching staff. He’s fearless and even when he gets down and doesn’t have his best stuff he finds a way to tune it in shape and finish the outing strong. He’s fearless went 8 innings today and retired 16 in a row. Lock both him and Ding down for a very long time right now. This was much needed. I dare say isn’t to much to late. You have a shot but you need to snowball wins against SEA. POTG: Troy”
