“If I was to let my Rangers bias fully take over, this game would be around an 8. This is exactly the kind of game Texas needed to close out this series. Eovaldi was great on the mound, the bats woke up from their slumber, even without the presence of Seager and we won comfortably against Houston. While all that is true, it didn’t look like it would go that way until 1 play became the turning point. Brandon Nimmo made sure this wouldn’t be a repeat of yesterday by robbing Yordan’s home run when it was still 0-0 in the bottom of the 4th. In the 5th, Texas opened the scoring thanks to a home run from Mr. Burger and the Rangers cruised to victory from there. If I remove my fan bias, this game probably rates around a 5. Was alright in the early goings, had great pitching, but was a formality past the 4th. With all that being said, I am still a fan of the Rangers, plus you can’t deny that a home run robbery being the turning point is sick af. Because of that, I think a mid-6 rating is fair. ”
