“You know who this game reminds me of... 2016 Western Michigan Legend Corey Davis. He had a stellar season with Western Mich and then went and played in the Cotton Bowl against Wisconsin. He had a legendary season for them and would go on to be picked by the Titans early in the first and have a couple of ok seasons getting close in 2018 and 2020 to breaking 1000 yards before signing with the Jets and playing for 2 more seasons before unexpectedly retiring from the league in 2023 citing "personal issues" he looked for reinstatement by the league in 2024 but would never play again. That 2016 Western Michigan team was undefeated in the Regular Season and now shares a MAC Championship with this team!”
