Great comeback from Alabama. Both these teams showed their inconsistencies tonight. I think just about anybody in the country could have beaten the Alabama team that showed in the first quarter, but they completely turned it around after that. Alabama won this game thanks to their o-line and defensive coordinator. There o-line was downright terrible in the first quarter and as the night went on the protection got better. The adjustments made by the Bama defensive coordinator was the biggest reason they won. The pressure he dialed up on Mateer after sitting in zone all first quarter was the real turning point.
