“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. This was a great run for the Hawkeyes, but obviously as a 9 seed it was bound to come to an end eventually. And I'll give Illinois props- I thought they weren't very good. Hell, I had them losing to TJ Power and UPenn round 1. But now, they're headed to the Final 4. They really haven't played a team like UConn all tournament. And I don't mean skill-level wise, because I think Houston is better than UConn talent-wise, but they are two very different teams. Illinois absolutely locked up Houston- but they are very guard heavy on offense led by Kingston Flemings and Emmanuel Sharp, but UConn is more offensively focused on their big men with Tarris Reed Jr and Alex Karaban (Kyle Korver in disguise)”
