I physically cannot believe I am saying this but Sunderland AFC have ended their first season back in the top flight seventh and have clinched a spot in the UEFA Europa League for the 26-27 season. What. A. Year. From start to finish this team proved we belonged in the prem. I am so proud to finally see this club get its head out of the gutter be what it always should be. This game was quite entertaining too with several SAFC chances early, but Trai Hume a lad who has been with us since League One days buries a scream, followed by a pathetic Chelsea own goal outta halftime to make it 2-0. Ofc Cole Palmer wasn’t gonna let this game get away so he had to get one back and those final 25 minutes were so fucking stressful. Chelsea tried to strike many times but were denied. And somehow, someway, Sunderland won. So proud. So happy. Next year is gonna be amazing. See you later this summer Black Cats. This is only the beginning
