flew in for my fist game at “uniqlo field at dodgers stadium” and much like the new name suggests, the park was littered with obtrusive advertisements. the wrap around scoreboards were taken down too so there wasn’t any way to tell what inning we were in or what the count was during an AB. idk maybe put that on the jumbotron instead of an advertisement filling up more than half the screen??
aside from that, it’s a nice ballpark. i splurged on seats in the outfield forgetting that they’d be directly in the sun. got heckled by everyone in my section but it was all on good fun. sat next to some great people who even offered to take a pic for me when they realized i was alone.
almost fell to my knees watching perdomo hit a home run directly to my seat i had just left 5 minutes prior. let’s have more than 2 people on register on opening day, yeah? girl next to me felt bad and gave me half her beer so that was nice.
dbacks need better pitching man…

With everybody so interested in a lockout, welcome to the beginning of the end! Nobody hates Arizona more than me so I’m glad that we could open up our three-peat season absolutely destroy destroying them. It brings much joy to my heart to see them lose, as it also brings much joy to my heart to see us win, so, combining that on top of how historical this will become is just beauty in the madness. I think I enjoy myself too much but it’s time to face the fact people, Los Angeles will see fall. That sounds a little weird, hold on. I’m saying the Los Angeles Dodgers will see the World Series again, I’m not saying anything crazy is going to happen in Los Angeles, let me rephrase. Los Angeles will see, some sort of fall, most likely, but most likely because it’ll be the World Series, as champions. Had to catch onto that. Good save.
