@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Canadiens vs Senators

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Canadiens vs Senators game 8.4 out of 10 in NHL on March 11, 2026. Final score: Canadiens 3 – Senators 2. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Better late than never for the Senators this season. They finally look like the team that broke their playoff drought last season and tonight they had Montreal on struggle street. After a mostly bland 1st that ironically included Slafkovsky scoring like he was back with Slovakia, the Senators pounced. Batherson deflected a Tkachuk pass past Fowler on a powerplay and Batherson snuck one by Fowler again thanks to a Giroux takeaway and a scrappy effort in front of the net. It felt like Montreal was struggling to keep up in the 2nd; a rarity for a team as gifted as they are. Don’t get me wrong, Montreal still had their chances, but Fowler had to morph into American Carey Price to keep it close. Texier thanked him by sneaking one past Ulmark, then Demidov capped off his incredible game by catching Ottawa sleeping and beating everyone to the puck to take the lead back in the 3rd. All it took was a bit more Fowler dramatics and the Habs clinched a game that almost escaped their grasp.
