“Back in the Bell Centre for a game that started close once again and actually stayed close to the end this time. In spite of a ton of ref shenanigans in the 1st and some in the 3rd, the game was super fun. Fast, tense and a ton of huge saves. I genuinely believe you could get different types of entertainment value from each period of this game with varying levels. In the first it was a goal fest, even when one of them were taken away. You even had a last second goal for Caufield to give you a shot of adrenaline going into intermission. In the 2nd it was morbid comedy. Dobes has been tremendous in this series and was great in this game, but he was done in by a very unfortunate bounce. Then in the 3rd you had tension up to your knees as both goalies kept their teams in it, especially Dobes before Buffalo broke through and UPL had to save the day and tie the series. Just a fast slobberknocker between 2 great young teams. I gotta give more love to Josh Doan because he does everything. ”
