@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Reds vs Rangers
@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Reds vs Rangers game 7.4 out of 10 in MLB on April 3, 2026. Final score: Reds 5 – Rangers 3. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.
“This was a push-pull type of game. Both these teams had an answer for everything the other team did through 8 innings. The Reds had the power while the Rangers tried to chop them down with paper cuts. It nearly worked for the Rangers, only for the bullpen to cost them this game right at the end. The bullpen is back to strike us down. I can’t shake this feeling that Jose LeClerc’s emergence and quick fall-off taught Texas the wrong lesson. Sure, LeClerc was undeniable proof of the impact a great closer can have on a team, but I think the Rangers now believe they’ll be able to generate a closer out of thin air, which has absolutely not worked and continues to kill us. On the plus side, Wyatt Langford had his first good game of the season, Gore (besides the 2nd inning) had a pretty good outing and Nimmo continues to look like a good addition. Unfortunately, not only did Seager have a tough day, but Chris Martin once again couldn’t close the deal and Stephenson powered the Reds through.”
