@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Maple Leafs vs Rangers

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Maple Leafs vs Rangers game 4.1 out of 10 in NHL on March 6, 2026. Final score: Maple Leafs 2 – Rangers 6. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The Leafs have hit a new low. I didn’t think it was possible, but they have done it. Prior to tonight, the New York Rangers had gone 101 days without a win at home in regulation and they managed to not only beat the Leafs at home, they crushed the Leafs like they fell off a tree in fall. They didn’t fall so far right away. In the first 2 periods, this was a tight game. Hell, the Leafs scored 13 seconds into this game. They went back-and-forth with goals, their goalies made some great saves and it felt like neither team was going to give up an inch. However, when Alexis Lafrenière scored in the 3rd to give New York the lead, it felt like Toronto exhaled. They slowed down, got sloppy and let the Rangers skate circles around them. That defeatist mindset led to this game becoming a blowout quickly. Hard to hold Woll responsible when his team basically surrendered. Zibanejad and Lafrenière had great games and Cuylle put in the 1st ingredient and finishing touch on this lovely Rangers result
