“Great story for the Pirates in this one. Jared Jones made his first start since 2024, and while it wasn't a great one, 5 runs in 4 and a third, it was his first start since 2024. I personally think Jared Jones is amazing, obviously nowhere near Paul Skenes, but I think he'll be Skenes' #2 for a while-or at least until he gets traded to the Dodgers (please no) And to make things just oh so sweeter in Jones first start back, they redeem him in the bottom of the 9th inning with a Bryan Reynolds walkoff home run. This is why we love baseball.”
