Unfortunately I was not able to watch the full game thanks to none of my streams working for this game specifically for some reason. However, I will not let that situation affect my rating. Embiid had a throwback performance with nearly a 40-point night, even got the free throws like he did in his prime. Just like that prime, it didn’t lead to winning as Brunson, OG and the Knicks closed them out. First half was good, tight basketball. Brunson was white hot to start, scoring 7 points before the 1st quarter was even half-over. The 76ers managed to keep up thanks to Embiid’s drives, but he couldn’t man-handle Mitchell Robinson forever. That 3rd quarter was dreadful for Philly. 13 points in a quarter, unacceptable. Especially when you have Maxey and Embiid. They nearly came back in the 4th, but they could never close the gap to make it too close. Don’t let the final score fool you, Knicks were up 8 with 47 seconds to go.
