“(be positive, be positive ...) Hey, a surprise bullpen game is a great opportunity for some of these guys to show their stuff – and they kind of did! I mean it wasn't pretty but they held the Sox off. Davis Schneider came back from AAA ready to prove something, and he's sure doing it. Diving catch to save the inning, immediately follows it up with a double, and then Giménez brings him home. What a stud. Blue Jays with a Giménez/Springer double-steal? Four steals in a single inning? Am I watching the right game?? Our old pal IKF was getting bases for the Sox, too. I always liked him and would not be surprised to see him in a Jays uniform again before it's all said and done. Duran worked Hoffman hard in the 7th. It didn't work out but it was a nice effort and the crowd was getting into it. Good raucous vibes at the park, no doubt in large part to the World Cup visitors. And Louis Varland is nasty. The best closer in baseball right now.”
