@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Stars vs Wild

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Stars vs Wild game 8.2 out of 10 in NHL on April 30, 2026. Final score: Stars 2 – Wild 5. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Closer than the final score says. Quinn Hughes just had his Minnesota legacy game. More importantly, the Wild have finally gotten over the hump and won their first playoff series since 2015. What a way to do it, their biggest trade acquisition, maybe ever, proving to be more than worth it. He played the biggest role in every goal that wasn’t an empty netter. Whether that meant scoring it or shooting it off a teammate. Even though this game was mostly low-event; the white hot crowd combined with some chaotic play and the historic moment for the Minnesota Wild gives this game a boost in my mind. Aside from Quinn Hughes, gotta give credit to Wallstedt for stepping up between the pipes, Tarasenko for getting a big goal to kill Dallas’s momentum (off a whacky bounce from a Hughes shot) and Joel Eriksson Ek being a massive net front presence to keep Oettinger off his game. To put it simply, the Wild did a great job preventing the Stars from getting many great chances while converting theirs.
