@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Stars vs Mammoth

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Stars vs Mammoth game 8.2 out of 10 in NHL on January 16, 2026. Final score: Stars 1 – Mammoth 2. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Didn’t watch the entire game but I did catch it in time to watch John Marino’s weird goal that got popped up in the air and snuck past Oettinger as well as Vejmelka’s beautiful windmill glove save. The contrast between my baffled and hysterical feeling after the John Marino goal and my amazed-feeling after the save was certainly an experience in real-time. Besides those plays, the 3rd period was really good. Utah was really holding on for dear life in those final seconds and I give Vejmelka all the credit in the world for ensuring the puck didn’t get close to the goal-line, let alone past it. I also want to give John Marino some credit because I loved him in New Jersey and am jealous the Flames couldn’t get him. That pass to Schmaltz was a beauty and I consider his flukey goal a reward from the hockey gods for his great performance in this one.
