“This one was all Red Sox once they got rolling. Willson Contreras came back to St. Louis and set the tone right away with a 2-run homer, then Boston really blew it open in the 4th when Jarren Duran cleared the bases and turned it into a 6-1 game.  Cardinals had a little life with Jordan Walker going deep early and Burleson adding one later, but it never really felt like Boston lost control. Contreras kept piling on against his old team, finished with 4 hits and 3 RBIs, and Trevor Story added late insurance to put it away.  Red Sox take it 9-3, and this felt like one of those games where every time St. Louis tried to make it interesting, Boston had another answer ready. RED SOX MIGHT ACTUALLY BE GOOD”
