@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Lightning vs Senators
@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Lightning vs Senators game 7.5 out of 10 in NHL on April 7, 2026. Final score: Lightning 2 – Senators 6. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.
“Much closer than the final score says. The Senators get another massive win against a top team in the East to keep their Wildcard spot. It was a tight game until the last 10 minutes when Ottawa just completely took over and John Cooper handicapped his team’s chances of making a comeback. Before that, the Senators got to reunite with an old friend they may have forgotten, Nick Paul. Paul said hi by scoring a goal right before the end of the 2nd to tie it up. After the 2nd period finished, this was still anyone’s game. But I did tell you John Cooper made it hurt Tampa’s chances. Zetterlund and Sanderson scored just 5 minutes in, but Corey Perry cuts the deficit to one. Still anyone’s game. Tampa is really good. Then Stutzle scored and Cooper challenged. The challenge failed and Ottawa scored on the ensuing powerplay. The game could’ve ended right there. Pinto added an empty netter for good measure. Brady Tkachuk got the first 4-assist game of his career, but Sanderson was the stand-out. ”
