Just a complete game by the Flames and it led to an easy win. That has been a rare occurrence this season and considering the hot streak Minnesota was on, I’m shocked we ended their point streak. The most obvious reason for this is Dustin Wolf who was fantastic in his first start since November. Shutting down so many Wild chances with superb rebound control. I could go on, but I want to give a special shoutout to a few Flames skaters. Mainly Matthew Coronato who continues to be one of the very few consistent sources of goals for Calgary, partially thanks to the beautiful pass from Morgan Frost, who may just be the best skater on this team. Huby also got a scrappy goal to break his goal drought, but Blake Coleman, what a beast. Absolutely relentless. Any playoff team worth their soul should want a player like Coleman on their 3rd line. Just a good team win for the Calgary Flames. Bad for the tank, great for the vibes.
