@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Golden Knights vs Avalanche

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Golden Knights vs Avalanche game 7.8 out of 10 in NHL on May 23, 2026. Final score: Golden Knights 3 – Avalanche 1. Conf. Finals. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

This game was a dogfight that looked like it was going in Colorado’s favour despite Vegas’s strong effort before turning on a dime. Colorado got the exact start they needed. They jumped on the Golden Knights early and took the lead. Everything was going right, but Vegas gradually regained more control of the game as it went on, starting when the Avs scored their first goal. Colorado managed to hold up a lot better in this game than they did in game 1. Heck, entering the 3rd they still had the lead, then Jack Eichel took over. Colorado’s transition game failed them at the worst times, giving up the puck and allowing Eichel to score and then set up Barbashev for a goal in the span of 2 minutes and 2 shots. Game was basically over at that point, the Avs never got a great chance to tie it up and were clearly demoralized. This game also provides more credence to my theory that Cale Makar is THE most important player on the Avs and a top 3 player in the entire NHL. D-men need more respect
