“3 HOME RUNS IN YOUR MAJOR LEAGUE DEBUT?! Welcome to the Majors Joshua Baez! You thought hitting a home run on his first major league pitch was good? Nah, he said “you’ve seen nothing”. I regret not watching the full game live. Holy cow what a game for the kid. Unfortunately I only got to see him line out in a few pitches which disappointed me greatly. The drama was there at least. Regardless, holy cow what a legendary moment in MLB history, a game that kid will remember forever for multiple reasons now. The only unfortunate part is Matt Boyd now goes down in history as the only pitcher to give up 3 home runs to a rookie making their major league debut. There are worse reasons to be remembered. At least his misery will have company today. This rating would probably be higher if I had actually watched the first 6 innings and not ignored it like an idiot. Hindsight is 20/20”
