“Texas Tech through the first half just looked so unbelievably flat and outright terrible. Maybe the curse of the first round bye is real. Seems like these teams are unable to stay fresh with a 20 plus day layoff. Oregon didn’t look very good in the first half either. Unable to convert on simple routine practices of a football game, but have been able to make Tech pay for some of their mistakes. Also an unbelievable 4th down go for it rate. Second half Texas looks a whole lot cleaner on offense but the mistakes are beginning to add up. The pick the flag on the punt and Oregon is capitalizing. That while Fourth Quarter was just a slow grueling and brutal execution of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. 1st Round Bye teams are now 0-6. ”
