Very emotional game for many. Very eventful too. Someone ran on the field, two smoke bombs were thrown. The A’s won. More info in reply below.

JT Ginn recorded the A’s last start and win at the Coliseum. This was also his first career win. Kumar Rocker started for the Rangers and recorded the last loss. The scoring started in the 3rd, where JJ Bleday grounded into an RBI fielder’s choice. Shea Langeliers hit a sacrifice fly. In the 5th, Bleday hit an RBI single to extend the lead to 3-0. In the top of the 6th, Adolis Garcia hit an RBI single. Nathaniel Lowe grounded into an RBI fielder’s choice. Bullpens dominated the rest of the way. The last hit in the Coliseum belongs to Seth Brown, the longest tenured Athletic (2019-current), with a single in the bottom of the 8th off of Jack Leiter. Mason Miller recorded the final save in the Coliseum. Final line for JT Ginn: 5.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 2 K on 68 pitches. Final line for Kumar Rocker: 4.2 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 2 K on 73 pitches.

The attendance was 46,889. Many chants were chanted throughout the game, including “sell the team” chants, “Let’s go Oakland” chants, and “Let’s go A’s” chants. An inflatable beach ball got onto the field, two smoke bombs (one in the 7th inning, green, and one in the 9th inning, yellow), and lots of trash in the 9th. During a Brent Rooker at bat in the 7th, two timeouts had to be called due to a smoke bomb and a ball on the field. This was a very eventful game. When Seth Brown got his hit in what I knew would be his last at bat in the Coliseum, I had shed a tear. I’m a Marlins fan, but over this past year, I’ve felt like I’ve made a relationship with the A’s and the Coliseum from watching and learning about the team. Therefore, I believe i have the right to say that taking the soul of Oakland is unjust by the MLB and the owner. I am extremely sorry for all A’s fans.
