“Last game between these two team was October 14, 2023 in Hartford, Connecticut, a game that I attended. Being my first Germany and first USA game I was excited and it delivered. A 3-1 win for Germany with a beautiful Pulisic goal from outside the box that I still have the video of on my phone. This game, while not as convincing as their showing against Finland, shows the strengths and weaknesses of Germany. Karl now being out does not help (I feel so bad for the kid), but Germany’s offense just needs to stay consistent and they could truly have a strong performance at the World Cup. I don’t have high expectations, but I would hope they get past the Round of 32 and Round of 16.”
