“I mean that was pretty dominant from the oilers, Draisaitl and Mcdavid are world-class this past month, and they look unstoppable. Nugent-Hopkins looks like he’s having a bounce back year, and the team is getting healthier. Connor Ingram has looked really solid, I’m glad they’re giving him some starts here. A solid fight between Frederic and bahl, and some rough stuff at the end was great. Flames just didn’t have an answer defensively for the speed of Edmonton, and got into some penalty trouble. I really liked the play of max jones tonight, he’s physical and great on the forecheck, led to some high danger chances, but dustin wolf made some good saves, man is he flexible. I’d like to see max jones stay in the lineup, but it will be difficult once kapanen comes back, maybe they need to move on from tomesek. Oilers are now tied for 1st in a weaker pacific division, but so proud of them for going 8-3-1 in December. ”
