Both teams needed this win for different reasons and in the end, the Texans get a massive win for their playoff hopes while Buffalo may have lost their chance to win the AFC East. The first half was a bit of a shootout, but those last few minutes were insane. Then the 2nd half turned into a battle of attrition as neither offense could get anything going. It all came down to the battle between the prolific Bills offense and the hard nosed Texans defense. In the end, the defense won. Josh Allen could never get comfortable thanks to the pass rush, mainly thanks to Will Anderson. Bullock came away with 2 interceptions and Davis Mills does just enough to help Houston walk away with a win. I’m surprised the Bills didn’t use James Cook more on that final drive, Cook was killing it, both on the ground and through the air. If not for that hook and ladder play on 4th and 27, the drive probably ends way earlier. Made for a dramatic ending. Good ass football, rare for a TNF game.
