Despite the low scoring affair; I quite enjoyed this one. I watched this expecting a goal scoring masterclass from at least one of these teams, instead, I got a great goaltending duel with a sprinkle of goals. It was a tale of two goalies. 1 goalie was determined to save the Sabres from themselves while the other was eager to get back into their groove after a slow start. Well, they both played their hearts out, both making crazy saves with Lyon making far more; but in overtime, it came down to two chances. Alex Tuch had a good shot and Vejmelka made the simple save. Then Clayton Keller caught Buffalo sleeping and slotted it under Lyon for the win. Besides the goalies, Keller had chance after chance after chance that Lyon was stopping while Kesselring was playing his heart out with all the shots he was blocking. As a whole, this was definitely leaning towards Utah and the scale only leaned more in their direction as the game went on. But it was still fun, mostly.
