“Nothing too exciting in this game. Its the usual suspects, Nick Kurtz and Brent Rooker going yard. I hope Nick Kurtz can sign a nice big free agent contract in 4 years and get out of the hell that is the Oakland Sacramento Las Vegas Athletics A's. And Gage Jump has looked very good. I've gauged his performance ever since he made the jump to the MLB and he's looking like a future star. 6 and a third, allowing only 3 hits and not a single run against Houston in this one. Of course, the Astros are terrible, but that lineup should be performing much better. You've got the AL MVP to this point in Yordan Alvarez, but guys like Jeremy Pena and Cam Smith need to step up. This Astros team seems like they're headed on a path to be the worst team in the MLB soon in all honesty. Altuve will be done soon. Yordan Alvarez' contract expires after the 2028 season. If I were him, I certainly wouldn't want to stay with this Astros team. They need to turn it around fast if they want him to stay.”
